Fun giveaway and a book recommendation

I've started reading "The Book Thief." It's a novel about a young girl in Nazi Germany and it's narrated by death. It's not as bizarre as it sounds and is actually very good. The author has an amazing talent for descriptions. I envy that! I'm only about 1/4 of the way through but so far, I'd recommend it. I was stunned it is shelved in the juvenile section of the library as it has plenty of bad language and graphic scenes. Amazon explains that this is for 9th graders and up but that it was published as an adult book in the author's native Germany. How odd, huh?
